Janey Tracey has an MFA in Fiction from Columbia University, where she received a University Writing fellowship and a scholarship to the New York State Summer Writers Program. Her work has appeared in Fiction, CRAFT, Ploughshares, and Entertainment Weekly and has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best American Short Stories. Her first novel TRUE BELIEVER is forthcoming from Mariner Books. She lives in Queens, New York.
